Skulls with Facial Hair
Re-emerging as a hyper realistic series (after Mandibles with Facial Hair, pictured below), Skulls with Facial Hair continues to represent paternal loss in a “Dia de los Muertos” fashion, allowing each skull to take on its own personality – a veritable life after death.
Mandibles with Facial Hair
Taking inspiration from Roger Hupman’s, “El Craneo” (day of the dead) and fusing it with “Facial Hair” each drawing, takes on its own mood and personality and uses humour to represent a coming to terms with paternal loss.
